Immigration and Lalitpur Police send responses to parliamentary committee on proposed ambassador Sunar

The District Police Office, Lalitpur, and the Immigration Office at Tribhuvan International Airport have sent the details sought by the parliamentary hearing committee regarding Giribahadur Sunar, who has been proposed as ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

While investigating the facts of a complaint filed against Sunar with the committee, the committee had sought details from the immigration office on whether or not he had been deported from Germany.

In response, the immigration office stated that it does not have details of the 14-year-old incident. As a result, the claim that Sunar was deported has not been confirmed.

Similarly, Lalitpur Police have also submitted the details sought by the committee to it.
