JICA starts reconstruction of BP Highway's Sindhuli Barsekhola-Piple section

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has begun reconstruction work on the Barsekhola-Piple section of the BP Highway in Sindhuli, which was damaged by natural disasters.

According to the Division Road Office, Bhaktapur, reconstruction work has also been accelerated on three other sections of the highway along with this one.

On the Kavre section of the highway, reconstruction work has been completed by 52 percent.

Reconstruction work is progressing on various sections of the highway that were damaged after the disaster. Once the work is completed, it is expected that the movement of passengers and vehicles on this route will become easier.
