Socialism could be the real alternative to 21st-century crises: Pradeep Gyawali

CPN-UML Standing Committee member and former foreign minister Pradeep Gyawali has said socialism could be the real alternative to the economic, social and political crises of the 21st century.

He made the remarks while addressing an international seminar organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Cyprus's communist party, AKEL. In his address, he emphasized socialism, social justice and international solidarity.

Gyawali said international solidarity was needed for peace, equality, workers' rights, social security and climate justice amid the global left movement.
