Madhesh Province's first overhead bridges: two completed in Mahendranagar, third under construction

Construction of two overhead pedestrian bridges on the Janakpurdham-Dhalkebar six-lane commercial road, at Mahendranagar market in Khireshwarnath Municipality-5 of Dhanusha, has been completed.

These are the first overhead bridges to be built in Madhesh Province. The bridges have been constructed at locations where pedestrian traffic on the road is heavy.

A third overhead bridge is also under construction on the same road section. Work on the third bridge has been reported to be in its final stage.

The overhead bridges are being built as part of the project to widen the Janakpurdham-Dhalkebar road to six lanes.
