Trailers of new Nepali films 'Himalayan Gold', 'Kabaddi 5' and 'Abat Aama 2' released for festive season

Trailers of three new Nepali films have been released.

'Himalayan Gold', featuring actor Sunil Thapa, is set for release from Mangsir 4. Directed by Dhiraj Rajbanshi, the film is based on a story of struggle for survival. Pariksha Limbu, Karma Shakya, Rahul N. Mukhia and Sajan Thapa have also acted in it. The production side says that under an agreement with Indian distributor AA Films, the film has become the first Nepali film to release across India all at once. According to the makers, the film will be shown with subtitles but in the original Nepali language in countries including India, Japan and Australia. Director Rajbanshi said that although the distributor offered a dubbing option, the Nepali language was retained to preserve its originality. The film has no songs, with emphasis placed instead on background music.

The trailer of 'Kabaddi 5', written and directed by Rambabu Gurung, was released on Tuesday, and the film will be screened nationwide from Kartik 6. Dayahang Rai, Vijay Baral, Buddhi Tamang and Miruna Magar, among others, have acted in it.

The trailer of 'Abat Aama 2', released on Monday, four days ahead of its release, has already received millions of views on YouTube within a short time. Viewers have taken a liking to the pairing of Paul Shah and Malika Mahat in the film.
