Disaster-damaged roads and homes in Baglung to be rebuilt soon: Minister Lamsal

Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal has said the government will soon rebuild roads and private homes in Baglung that were damaged by the disaster.

Minister Lamsal visited the flood- and landslide-affected areas of western Baglung on Friday. During the visit, he pledged that the government would quickly rebuild the damaged roads and houses.

For reconstruction and relief, the government has declared Galkot Municipality, Badigad Rural Municipality, Dhorpatan Municipality, Nisikhola Rural Municipality, Tarakhola Rural Municipality and Taman Khola Rural Municipality in Baglung as crisis-affected areas.

Floods and landslides triggered by continuous rainfall have damaged roads and private homes in these local units.
