Trump says peace deal to end Ukraine war is getting closer

US President Donald Trump has said a peace agreement to end the war between Russia and Ukraine is closer to being possible than it has been in a long time.

He said that since the talks are at a sensitive stage, imposing further sanctions on Russia at this time could affect the diplomatic effort.

Nagarik, Khabarhub, Nepal Press and Ratopati have published reports on Trump's remarks that a deal in the Russia-Ukraine war is getting closer. Further details about the terms and timing of any agreement have not been made public.
