The International Cricket Council (ICC) has granted List A T20 recognition to all matches of the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). With this, all NPL matches will now receive official ICC recognition.
Meanwhile, as the third edition of the NPL approaches, the upgrade and management work of the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur has entered its final phase. Various media outlets have published photos of the ground's preparations.
From the third edition of the NPL, competitions up to the ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup, which Nepal is set to host, will be held at the Kirtipur ground. As a result, the ground will remain busy with national and international cricket competitions in the days ahead.
With the List A T20 recognition, all matches of the NPL's third edition will now be officially counted as ICC-recognized matches.
