PM Shah: There is a difference between saving the country and saving the party

Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah has said there is a difference between those who save the country and those who save their party. He shared this view in a status posted on Facebook late Thursday night.
According to Nagarik Dainik, PM Shah's status appeared to target the old political parties. He raised the question of whether those who make their cadres fight and then laugh are saving the country or saving the party.
According to RatoPati, the prime minister's reaction came after Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chairman Rabi Lamichhane questioned the government's decision to remove the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
The government had removed IGP Danbahadur Karki and appointed Manoj Kumar KC in his place. As reactions came in from various parties over the matter, the prime minister made his position public through social media.
