About 2.1 million children to get vitamin A on Kartik 17 and 18

The government will administer vitamin A to about 2.1 million children across all regions of the country on Kartik 17 and 18. Preparations for the program are underway, officials said.

Children will receive vitamin A under the regular program for fiscal year 2083/84 BS. The program will run simultaneously across all regions of the country.

Since the vitamin A program will be conducted on the two designated days, parents will be able to have their children receive the vitamin on those same dates.

The government has set the program for Kartik 17 and 18 with a target of covering about 2.1 million children.
