Supreme Court calls for case files from Special and High Court in Deepak Bhatt case

The Supreme Court has ordered the Special Court and the High Court to submit the case files in the matter concerning Deepak Bhatt.

A bench of justices Sharanga Subedi and Nityanand Pandey issued the order on Wednesday directing both courts to produce the files related to the case.

Earlier, the Special Court had ordered that Deepak Bhatt and Sulav Agrawal, implicated in a money laundering case, be sent into custody for investigation on the same day.

With the Supreme Court's order to call for the files from the Special Court and the High Court, further hearings on the case will now take place at the Supreme Court.
