233 squatter families in Dhanusha get land ownership certificates 11 years after survey

233 squatter families in Dhanauji Rural Municipality-3 of Dhanusha have received land ownership certificates about 11 years after the land survey was completed. The area falls under wards 1 to 9 of the former Jhojhi Kataiya VDC.

The Dhanauji Survey Office issued the land certificates to the families after completing the necessary legal process.

These local families, who had long been living as squatters, have now formally obtained legal ownership of the land they occupy.
