Complaints invited against four nominees for Supreme Court judge

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament has invited complaints against four judges recommended for appointment as Supreme Court justices. The committee sought the complaints by issuing a public notice on Monday.
The Judicial Council had recommended four High Court judges for appointment as Supreme Court justices at its meeting held on October 6.
The committee said the public complaints were sought in order to proceed with the parliamentary hearing process for the nominees. They must undergo a parliamentary hearing before their appointment.
If complaints are received, the committee will discuss them before proceeding with the hearing process for the recommended judges.
