Demand to operate Tatopani border point regularly as only 10 containers enter in two days

There is a demand to regularly operate the Nepal-China Tatopani border point in Sindhupalchok. The border point was brought into temporary operation from Kattik 1 this year.
The demand for regular operation of the border point has been raised by the Nepal Himalaya Cross-Border Commerce Association.
In the two days since it opened temporarily, only 10 containers have entered Nepal through this border point.
The demand for regular operation has arisen because the border point has so far opened only temporarily. This border point in Sindhupalchok is a cross-border trade point between Nepal and China.
