Questions over Madhesi, Dalit representation in Congress's new leadership

A new Central Working Committee has been chosen under the leadership of Gagan Kumar Thapa following the Nepali Congress's 15th General Convention. It has been claimed that a "Gagan era" has begun in the party with the new leadership.
However, questions have been raised about inclusive representation. According to one analysis, of the top 9 posts, 8 have gone to Khas-Arya leaders and 1 to a leader from the Madhesi community. The analysis notes that no one from the Dalit, Janajati, Tharu or Muslim communities has reached the top posts.
A total of 231 central members have been elected through the convention. The party president can nominate 66 more members, after which the Central Committee will have 297 members. The analysis examines the convention's results against the inclusiveness envisioned by Congress's history, organizational structure and constitution.
