Nepal Bar forms panel to gather facts on judges named in Inam Sapkota case

The Nepal Bar Association has formed a committee to gather facts in the case linking middleman Inam Sapkota to judges. The decision to form the committee was made at a Bar Association meeting held on Monday, Kattik 16.

The committee will collect facts on the judges named in connection with Inam Sapkota's WhatsApp message case and prepare a report. It will also offer suggestions for reform in the justice sector.

According to the Bar, the committee has been formed with the objective of pursuing judicial reform and investigating corruption within the judiciary. The committee will submit its report to the Bar Association once its work is complete.

Discussion and questions have been raised in the justice sector since the case linking judges' names to Inam Sapkota became public.
