Floods halt construction of Madhya Kaligandaki hydropower project for a month

Construction of the 66.3 MW Madhya Kaligandaki hydropower project, being built in Annapurna Rural Municipality of Myagdi, has been stalled for the past month.

The project's work was halted due to floods. The floods have caused damage worth about 200 million rupees to the project.

With construction stalled for a month, work on the project has been unable to move forward.
