Kailali police who got no Dashain leave celebrate at their post, DIG applies their Tika

Police personnel in Kailali who did not get Dashain leave celebrated the festival while on duty. Police working at the District Police Office, Kailali, in Dhangadhi, received Tika and celebrated Dashain at their office itself.
Because of their responsibility to remain deployed for public security, these police personnel were unable to receive Tika with their families during Dashain. The Sudurpashchim Province Police Chief, a DIG, applied Tika on them instead.
Police who did not get Dashain leave remain deployed for security arrangements even during the festival. They celebrated Dashain by receiving Tika and blessings at their workplace.
Police personnel have been deployed on their assigned duties to manage security arrangements during the festival. Unable to go home, they celebrated Dashain together with their colleagues at the office.
