U-19 women's cricket: Unbeaten Nepal crowned champions of Belt and Road Series

Nepal's U-19 women's cricket team has won the title of the Belt and Road Series held in China without losing a single match.
Nepal were crowned unbeaten champions after their final match against Hong Kong was washed out midway by rain.
Nepal played six matches in the tournament. They won four of them, while two matches could not be completed due to rain.
In their opening match, Nepal defeated Thailand by seven wickets. Their second match, against China, ended without a result due to rain. In the third match, Nepal beat Hong Kong by a huge margin of 92 runs. In the fourth match, Nepal again beat Thailand, this time by 52 runs. In the fifth match, Nepal defeated host China by 84 runs.
In the final match, batting first, Nepal had scored 88 runs for the loss of two wickets in 11 overs when the weather failed to improve and the match could not resume.
This performance in China is considered significant preparation for next year's ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup. According to media reports, the World Cup is scheduled to be held from January 12 to February 8, 2027.
