17-year-old airlifted from Jajarkot after complicated childbirth

A 17-year-old girl who faced complications during childbirth in Jajarkot has been airlifted for treatment.

The girl, from Kushe Rural Municipality-2 in Jajarkot, was flown to Surkhet by helicopter for further treatment.

According to reports, she developed complications during delivery that could not be managed at the local level, prompting the aerial rescue. She will now receive treatment in Surkhet.

In remote districts like Jajarkot, women who develop complications during childbirth are typically airlifted to larger hospitals. The girl was brought to Surkhet following the same procedure this time as well.
