Nepal defeated Oman by 10 runs in their final match of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League Two. In the match played on Monday at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman, the hosts, chasing the 281-run target set by Nepal, finished 10 runs short.

Batting first, Nepal set the hosts Oman a target of 281 runs. Three Nepal batters scored half-centuries, and in the same match Rohit Paudel completed 1,000 runs.

Although Oman looked strong while chasing the target, Nepal staged a superb comeback with the ball to turn the match in their favor.

With this win, Nepal stayed within the top six of the League Two points table and secured sixth place. With sixth place now secure, the chances of Nepal retaining its One Day International (ODI) status have risen significantly.
