Citizens no longer need to visit home district for citizenship copies, can get them in Kathmandu Valley

Citizens who obtained citizenship from any district in the country will now be able to get copies of their citizenship certificates from within Kathmandu Valley itself. Previously, people had to travel to their home district to get a copy.
The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, issued a notice on Tuesday stating that a province-wise service arrangement has been set up for the distribution of citizenship copies. Under this arrangement, residents of the valley who originally hold citizenship from other districts will be able to obtain copies from the three District Administration Offices in Kathmandu Valley.
According to the notice, it has been specified which province's citizens should take the service from which office. This, it said, removes the obligation for residents of the valley from other districts to travel to their home district for a copy.
If you live in the valley and need a copy of your citizenship certificate, you can go to the District Administration Office designated for your province and obtain the service there.
