Kathmandu metropolis designates 33 sites to sell flower garlands for Tihar, plastic flowers to be seized

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has designated 33 sites within the metropolis to organize the sale of flowers, garlands and other necessary items for Tihar.

The metropolis has completely banned the sale and distribution of plastic flowers, garlands and decorative items within its area during Tihar. The metropolis said the decision was made to boost the sale of domestically produced flowers and items.

The metropolis said that any plastic flowers or decorative items sold would be seized.
